SevereStreaming services are provided for entertainment purposes only.
By using the Windows Media streaming services at SevereStreaming.com you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms:
1.) You shall abide by any rules, restrictions, or terms placed upon you by your Internet Service Provider (ISP).
2.) SevereStreaming/SevereStudios Inc. cannot, and will not, be held responsible for any actions taken against you by third parties if you violate ISP terms.
3.) SevereStreaming/SevereStudios Inc. cannot, and will not, be held responsible for any interruption in service caused by any means, in or out of our control.
4.) SevereStreaming/SevereStudios Inc. will do everything in our control to ensure service uptime, however, we do not guarantee continual, uninterrupted, or error free service or use of the website. There is no warranty or guarantee of service.
5.) You acknowledge the streaming service relies on hardware and software that may malfunction at any time without warning.
6.) SevereStreaming services shall not be used to protect life, health, or property.
7.) You acknowledge the streaming service is provided on a voluntary basis and is subject to be cancelled with no prior and/or formal notice.
8.) SevereStreaming/SevereStudios Inc. cannot, and will not, be held responsible for any lost revenue caused by interruption, cancellation, or termination of the service.
9.) All video streamed through SevereStreaming servers is considered the property and responsibility of the submitting party.
10.) Only you, the authorized account holder, may use your streaming account. You are responsible for all activity that takes place with your streaming account. You may not share your login information nor authorize any third party to access and/or use the service on your behalf.
11.) You agree not to share any proprietary information with competing services or the general public.
12.) You will not knowingly or willingly infringe on any copyrights, including rebroadcasting copywritten material, either aural or visual.
13.) SevereStreaming/SevereStudios Inc. reserves the right to insert or co-locate branding and advertisements of any type in video streams from free accounts, and collect all revenue for itself.
14.) SevereStreaming/SevereStudios Inc. reserves the right to embed or re-broadcast all or part of video streams and related content at any location on its own websites and moderated feeds. Proper credit will be given to orginator of said content.
15.) SevereStreaming/SevereStudios Inc. reserves the right to allow hyperlinking, embedding, and/or screen captures of all or part of video streams and related content by third party websites as promotion of SevereStudios services and website content. Proper credit will be given to orginator of said content.
16.) SevereStreaming/SevereStudios Inc. will not re-package or resell user-created or submitted video or live streams without prior authorization of the of the individual(s) who creates or submits the video or live stream.
17.) All copyrights for live video content reside with the creating individual(s). It is the user's responsibility to enforce copyright. However, SevereStudios will actively assist users in rectifying copyright infringment to the full extent that technology and law will allow.
PROHIBITED CONTENT AND/OR ACTIVITY
You must use the service in a manner consistent with any and all applicable laws and regulations. The following is a partial list of the kind of content that is illegal or prohibited on the service. SevereStreaming reserves the right to terminate the membership of violators. Prohibited content includes, but is not limited to, video or audio that:
-- is obscene, patently offensive, or promotes racism, bigotry, hatred or physical harm of any kind against any group or individual;
-- harasses or advocates harassment of another person;
-- contains nudity, violence, or subject matter deemed offensive by SevereStreaming;
-- promotes information that you know is false or misleading;
-- promotes illegal activities or conduct that is abusive, threatening, obscene, defamatory or libelous;
-- exploits people in a sexual or violent manner;
-- includes the name, voice, or likeness of anyone under 18 years of age;
-- violates copyrighted, trademarked, or other intellectual property of any other person or entity;
-- furthers or promotes any criminal activity or enterprise or provides instructional information about illegal activities; or
-- involves commercial activities and/or sales without our prior written consent such as contests, sweepstakes, solicitation of donations, or advertising.
SevereStreaming/SevereStudios Inc. reserves the right to terminate your streaming account upon violation of any of these terms, or for any other reason, without prior notice.
